Day 1. Arrival
Arrival at Varna Airport. You will be welcomed by a professional tour guide. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Varna or nearby resorts.

Day 2. Varna, The Stone Forest
Sightseeing tour of Varna - see the Museum of History, the Cathedral and the remainders of the Roman Thermae. Lunch. A visit to the natural phenomenon “Stone Forest" nearby Varna. Overnight in Varna or nearby resorts.
In the evening: concert/opera as per Festival Programme 2008

Day 3. Nessebur
Full day excursion to Old Nessebur (UNESCO World Cultural Heritage), situated on a small rocky peninsula at the southern Black Sea Coast. See the Old town’s preserved churches from the 5th till the 17th century, the early Byzantine fortress walls built in the 4th and 5th century as well as the picturesque old houses showing specific architecture. Lunch in an authentic taverna in Old Nessebur. Overnight in Varna or nearby resorts.

Day 4. Balchik, Cape Kaliakra
Half day excursion to the Northern Black Sea coast. See the palace of the Romanian queen Maria in Balchik and second largest botanical garden in Eastern Europe. Continue to shrouden in legend Cape Kaliakra and enjoy splendid views on the rocky coast. Lunch. Overnight in Varna or nearby resorts.

Day 5. Aladzha rock monastery, wine tasting
A visit to the Aladzha rock monastery situated in the natural park of Golden Sands followed by a wine tasting in the ‘Temple of wine’ or a similar wine cellar in the vicinity. Dinner. Overnight in Varna or nearby resorts.

Tag 6. Boat trip, Folk Style Evening out
Half day boat trip excursion. Time at leasure. Folk Style Evvening out in the vicinity. Overnight in Varna or nearby resorts.

Day 7. A day at leasure
Optional: full day excursion- go upcountry to see The Madara Horseman, Preslav and Shoumen. Overnight in Varna or nearby resorts.

Day 8. Departure
Transfer to the Varna Airport.
