Day 1. Arrival
Arrival at Sofia Airport. You will be welcomed by a professional tour guide.
Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Sofia.
Day 2. Monasteries Strupez, Tschrepisch, Sedemte Prestola
A journey of a whole day through the gorges of the Balkan Range to discover
picturesque monasteries which were important educational and cultural centers in
the past. See the unique church in “Sedemte Prestola” - the only in Bulgaria
with 7 altars. Dinner in an old-style restaurant. Overnight in Sofia.
Day 3. Sofia, Vitoscha Mountains
Sightseeing tour of the capital Sofia including the most significant monuments
and a visit to the Alexander Nevski patriarchal cathedral. A trip to the Vitosha
Mountains to visit the remarkable Church of Boyana (UNESCO World Cultural
Heritage) and the National Museum of History. Overnight in Sofia.
Day 4. Departure
According to flight schedule - leisure time in the city. Transfer to Sofia
airport.
